Progressive Democrats of America is holding house parties in PDA chapters across the country this weekend in celebration of its second birthday and all the hard work that has allowed the organization to grow so quickly over the last two years.

PDA Executive Director Tim Carpenter says, “This is an opportunity to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished so far and to energize our members for the work ahead in the midterm elections. PDA is moving the Democratic Party on key issues like Iraq, election protection, economic justice and demanding accountability from the Bush Administration. We’re making sure the leaders of the Democratic Party stay true to the Party’s core principles and supporting progressive candidates running for office so that the Democratic Party can be a real alternative for voters.”
